What the extension does on your device
Fullframe reads Google Images result content and metadata, including image URLs, source-page URLs, titles, and dimensions, to operate the viewer. This metadata is processed locally in your browser’s memory.
To obtain image metadata, Fullframe observes relevant responses from Google’s own page requests. Related-image browsing operates Google’s preview panel underneath the viewer.
Fullframe’s content scripts run on supported Google search pages. Its activeTab and scripting permissions allow it to initialize in a Google tab that was already open when the extension was installed.
Image requests
Viewing and preloading images causes your browser to make requests to Google and to the original image hosts. Those services receive ordinary network-request information, such as your IP address and browser details. Their own privacy policies apply.
A preview appears first, followed by the full-size original when available. If an image host blocks the original, Fullframe falls back to a preview. These image requests do not go through a developer-operated Fullframe backend.
What we don’t collect
Fullframe has no developer-operated backend, user accounts, analytics, or tracking. Search-result metadata is not sent to the developer.
The extension still processes result information locally and makes the image requests described above. No account or sign-up is needed.
Contacting support
Emailing support is separate from using the extension. If you write to watts.tc@icloud.com, I receive your email address and whatever you include in your message so I can respond.
Include only information you want to share. Remove private information from any screenshots or search URLs you send.
This website
This policy describes the Fullframe extension. This website uses Vercel Analytics to measure website usage. That website analytics integration is separate from the Fullframe extension, which has no analytics or tracking. Loading this website makes ordinary web requests to the website’s hosting infrastructure, which receives network-request information. The extension’s lack of analytics does not mean the website or its hosting infrastructure receives no information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, this page and the date at the top will be updated. You can return to this privacy policy at any time.
